Hello! I'm Scott, and design is my absolute passion.
As a creative and versatile Graphic Designer, Print & Digital Production Manager, and Editor, for more than 30 years, my focus has been on crafting effective and visually engaging designs that tell stories, solve problems, or simply bring joy.
I have created thousands of award-winning illustrations and graphics that seamlessly blend photography, typography, and color theory, all while prioritizing user experience (UX) principles.
I use advanced color correction, editing, and retouching techniques on photographs and artwork to consistently create captivating visuals for both print and digital platforms.
Beyond creating elegant design, my copy editing and proofreading skills ensure that accompanying text is always perfectly written and grammatically correct – a skill that truly distinguishes my work.
I have spearheaded the end-to-end design and production of 30+ daily and weekly print publications in northern Illinois and Iowa. Using strong prioritization and project execution skills, I mentored a team of 25+ designers, copy editors, and support staff who thrived in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting while ensuring meticulous accuracy and consistency across all projects.
